1993 Sauber C12A

We have the pleasure in offering this beautiful 1993 Sauber C12 A chassis 04 show car, voted twelfth best looking F1 car of all time in a recent survey. Five show cars built by the Sauber team for their sponsors. This particular car was given to Castrol. One other is know to be in Japan and one in the Sinsheim Technical Museum in Germany.

Twenty five years ago Sauber took its first steps in Formula One with the striking C12. Designed by Harvey Postlethwaite (who left before for the season started) and Leo Ress. Driven by Karl Wendlinger and JJ Lehto finishing highest place of fourth at the San Marino and Italian Grand Prix’s. The team finished seventh in the Constructors Championship.

This car is in the 1994 livery and is incredibly well built. The build uses many original parts such as the front and rear wings, floor, suspension arms and gearbox casing. It also has an original but not usable engine fitted completing the look. This stunning car would make a fine addition to any collection, as a display piece in an office reception or just something to look at in the garage!

Please contact us for any further details or to view the car at our premises, please note that this car can not be turned into a running car this is only a show car.
