1998 Williams FW20

We have the pleasure in offering this beautiful, podium finishing Williams FW20 chassis number 05 as driven by the 1997 World Champion Jacques Villeneuve.

The FW20 was designed by a technical team lead by Patrick Head with Gavin Fisher (Chief Designer) and Geoff Willis (Chief Aerodynamicist), driven by Jacques Villeneuve and Heinz-Harald Frentzen. The team achieved great success with the car, finish third in the Constructors Championship with both Villeneuve (two) and Frentzen (one) reaching podium positions.

This very chassis was used by Villeneuve from Barcelona until Spa scoring his two podiums at Hockenheim and Budapest while also scoring points finishes at Barcelona, Monaco, Magny Cours and Speilberg. The chassis was later used as a T car and also tested in December 1998 by the teams 1999 drivers Alex Zanardi and Ralf Schumacher.

The car is currently in the 2002 BMW Williams livery but can be returned to the period correct Winfield livery and can be supplied as either a rolling chassis or can be completely restored to be a running V10 car by our highly experienced engineering partners TDF.

This is an exceptional opportunity to purchase a highly successful Williams Grand Prix chassis with excellent history.

Please contact us for any further details or to view the car at our premises.
